"I like making shapes in space. I like to use wire because it allows me to draw in space. I like to use beads because they are color and story and texture."

"I invite light to be an active participant in my work. I look for the intersection of quick sketch and meticulous construction. I'm intrigued that physical objects can record time and carry stories and evoke emotion."

"The wall pieces are made by stringing a bead or two on a strand of wire, looping the strand back over itself, then choosing the next bead and repeating the process. Very simple. Very time consuming. The surface and structure are created simultaneously. Each bead is a point of color and a point in time."
